1. Service Description

Arkansas StateLeg™ is a legislative intelligence platform operated by Natural State Intelligence LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). The platform provides real-time tracking, analysis, and alerts for Arkansas legislative activity, including bills, hearings, and committees.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Arkansas StateLeg™, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use the service. We may modify these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • You may not share your account or allow others to access the service through your credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data in bulk without permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense access to the platform without written consent
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

5. Intellectual Property

The platform, including its design, features, original analysis, summaries, and compiled data presentations, is the intellectual property of Natural State Intelligence LLC. Underlying legislative data sourced from public government records remains in the public domain.

You retain ownership of any data you input into the platform (e.g., notes, bookmarks, custom alerts). You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the service.

Not Legal Advice. Arkansas StateLeg™ is an informational tool. Nothing on the platform constitutes legal advice. You should consult a qualified attorney for legal guidance.

Data Accuracy. While we strive for accuracy, legislative data may contain errors, delays, or omissions. We source data from public records and third-party providers, and we cannot guarantee that all information is complete or current. Always verify critical information with official sources.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NATURAL STATE INTELLIGENCE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arkansas.
